About PGET-2018 Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (WBUT) has conducted Post Graduate Entrance Test 2018 for admission to MTech and MPharma programmes offered by various colleges on the state. Addmission would be made through an entrance test (PGET-2018) in relevant subject for all candidates including the GATE/GPAT qualified candidates. Due weightage will be given to valid GATE/GPAT score while preparing the merit list. The tentative date of written exam will be 28.04.2018.
WBUT PGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria – Eligibility for PGET
Educational Qualification
> Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture from recognized University/ Institute.
> GATE/GPAT qualified students will also be considered eligible for admissions.
> Aspirants who are Associate Members of a Professional of Engineers recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent courses can also apply.
> Applicants who hold an MSC degree or would be completing their M.Sc. in the respective branches can also apply.
> Final year students can also apply. However, these students should fulfill the eligibility criteria by August 31.
Application Fee
Candidates should have to pay Rs.600/- for OBC/General category & Rs.300/- for Sc/St category through online by Payment Gateway.
Counselling Fee
Candidates enlisted merit wise will have to pay a Counselling fee of Rs.500/- at the time of Counselling.
WBUT PGET Exam Pattern 2018
The written Test for PGET-2018 will be conducted based upon Subjectwise MCQ type OMR based pattern of test and shall be of 90 minutes Duration. All candidates are required to appear in the Entrance Test for PGET. Merit list will be published after the written test. No interview will be held.
> Question will be the Objective type.
> There will be 100 multiple choice questions.
> Exam duration 2 hours.
> General Section: English, Aptitude in Logical/Reasoning
> Mathematics, Basic Sciences & Engineering Sciences.

WBUT PGET 2018 Admit Card
The tentative date of written exam will be 28.04.2018. So those candidates will apply successfully for PGET-2018 can download their WBUT PGET 2018 Admit Card from the official website of WBUT. The PGET-2018 Admit Card will be available online from 24.04.2018. To download WBUT PGET 2018 Admit Card candidates need to enter their Name & Roll number details. PGET Admit Card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall. Without a WBUT PGET 2018 Admit Card candidates will not be allowed to sit PGET-2018 Examination.
WBUT PGET 2018 Result
The PGET Result & Merit List will be declare on the official website in the month of July 2018. Merit list will be created separately for GATE & GPAT candidates. To check WBUT PGET 2018 Result candidates need to enter their email-id or Application no details. WBUT PGET Rank Card will be released shortly after the merit list is declared. It would comprise the scores and ranks of aspirants.
WBUT PGET 2018 Counselling WBUT PGET Counselling will be conducted in the month of July 2018 tentatively. aspirants who secure the minimum cut-off will be shortlisted. Such candidates will have to register themselves online for the counselling session. Shortlisted candidates will have to pay Counselling fee of Rs. 500/- at the time of Counselling.
Candidates will be allowed to choose their preferred college and course. Once all the choices are submitted, aspirants will be allotted seat basis their preference and merit. Aspirants who are satisfied with the seats allotted to them will have to confirm their admission by reporting to the allotted institute.
