WBUT JEMAT Examination 2017: Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal was formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). The West Bengal University of Technology has announced a notification that the JEMAT-II Examination – 2017 will be held on 10th September 2017. Eligible candidates can apply online through official website http://www.wbut.ac.in from 23rd August 2017 to 04.09.2017. About JEMAT Examination
The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT-II) is a state level eligibility of the Govt. of W.B. conducted by the MAKAUTWB. Test held every year for admission to the MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes offered by the Management Institutions of the State (both government & private). The test is conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology on behalf of the State Government as per the guidelines framed by AICTE.
Qualification & Eligibility For JEMAT Examination 2017
The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2017 may apply.
Payment of Fees: Candidates should have to pay as application fee of Rs. 600/- for General Category and Rs.300/- for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
Mode of Payment: The candidates have to pay the fee by Drawing a Demand Draft, from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “WBUT-JEMAT – II” payable at Kolkata and send it along with the printed & signed Online Application form.
Scheme of Examination: JEMAT Examination Pattern – The exam consists of three subjects, a) General English b) Mathematics & c) Logical Reasoning.
> Duration of Exam – 2 hours
> No of Question – 100
> Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
> Negative Marking – 0.25 marks in each wrong answer
