Vidyasagar College for Women is a women’s college affiliated with the University of Calcutta. It was founded in 1960. However, its history went back to 1931 when a separate women’s section of the Vidyasagar College was started to cater to the educational requirements of the women-folk of Kolkata. Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have minimum 50% marks in aggregate with 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination OR 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination and pass marks in aggregate OR 50% marks in aggregate in case the candidate opting Honors in the subject which is not included in her previous qualifying examination.
