Essential Qualification:
Candidates should have possessed at least MBBS Degree with valid registration of Medical Council of India & should be physically fit & mentally sound.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates must be below 64 years of age. The upper age limit & relaxation as per Govt. norms.

Remuneration:
Eligible & selected candidates receive their remuneration of Rs. 21,000/- as basic pay with all admissible allowances. The Retired Govt. Officers will be remunerated as per existing rules & the selected Medical Officer have to stay within 02 KM of the Tamluk Subsidiary Correctional Home by own arrangement for which HRA will be paid as per State Govt. rules.
