Educational Qualification
All candidates who have passed H.S. or Equivalent Examination (with a pass in English having full marks being not less than 100) in the Years 2012 & onwards are eligible to apply for admission to the 1st Year of the 3 Year B.A./B.Sc. (Pure)/ B.Sc. (Bio)/ B.Com. Degree Courses (Honours/General)/ for the session 2024-25.
For Honours Course: A candidate willing to take up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:
a) A minimum of 505 marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject in the H.S. or equivalent qualifying examination. Or
b) A minimum of 55% marks in the subject or related subject in the H.S. or equivalent qualifying examination. Or
c) A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her H.S. Or equivalent qualifying examination provided all the other clauses are satisfied.
For SC/ST candidates: A candidate belonging to the SC or ST community willing to take up Honours course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the subject or the related subject or in the aggregate in the H.S. or equivalent qualifying examination.
Application Fee
Candidates should have to pay the application fee of Rs.200/- through online using a Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or offline at the college Cash Counter on all working days between 12:00 Noon to 3:00 P.M.
Reservation of Seat / Intake Seat capacity
Seat Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B & Physically Challenged candidates will be based on existing rules of the West Bengal Government.
Publication of Merit List – Selection Process
