Nabadwip Vidyasagar College is established in 1942. It is a college in Nabadwip, in Nadia District, West Bengal, India. It offers Undergraduate Courses in Arts, Commerce & Sciences. It is affiliated to the University of Kalyani. Nabadwip Vidyasagar College was awarded B grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college started its journey on 5th March 1942 as a branch of Vidyasagar College in Kolkata. Nabadwip Vidyasagar College was initially organized in Nabadwip Hindu School building. From 1942 to 1948 it functioned as a branch of Kolkata Vidyasagar College. Afterward, local educationists & common people of Nabadwip town formed a Committee to look after the administration of the college.

Candidate may be admitted to the 1st year of 3-year BA/B.Sc/B.Com (Hons/Gen) Courses of studies on passing HS (10+2) examination in General or Vocational stream conducted by the WB Council of HS Education or an equivalent examination conducted by other State Board / Council or Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya or National Open School recognized by the Distant Learning Council.
i) A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate & 55% marks in the subject of the related subject at the previous qualifying examination or
ii) 50% marks in aggregate & 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination, or
iii) 55% marks in aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject or any related subject in his / her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied (especially University Rules-5).
