Andaman & Nicobar JEE Exam Date 2018: The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has decided to conduct the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) – 2018 for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded Technical Institutions / State Level Institutions, who have opted to take part in the Examination in the Country through JEE (Main). Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is an all India common entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering courses like B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch and B.Planning under the direction of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). On the basis of JEE Main, candidates are admitted to NITs, CFTIs and other engineering Institutions. Over 12 lakh candidates appear in this national level engineering entrance test every year.
The 6th Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)- 2018 will be conducted in Andaman & Nicobar State on 8th April 2018 (Sunday). About Joint Entrance Examination
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examination – JEE Main and the JEE Advanced. The exams are of the objective pattern. JEE Advanced is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging undergraduate admission tests.
Through JEE Main 2018, the qualifying candidates will be offered admission to undergraduate engineering programmes across the participating institutes. In order to be considered eligible for B.Tech admissions through JEE Main 2018, the candidates need to have at least secured 75% marks in class XII (65% for SC/ST candidates). For the academic year 2017-18, having an Aadhaar Card number is mandatory for filling up the application form of JEE Main 2018.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2018
Candidates must have qualified class 12th or equivalent qualification from recognized Board/Institutes. General category candidates need to have secured minimum 75% marks or should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12th Board or equivalent examination. Qualifying marks requirement for candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 65%.
Age Limit: As per CBSE, the candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1993 (or be 25 years old). Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
JEE Main Application Form 2018
CBSE will release the application form of JEE Main 2018 tentatively in the first week of December 2017 in Online mode. JEE Main 2018 application form will be available for all eligible candidates. Before filling the application form of JEE Main 2018, the candidates must keep ready with them their scanned photograph, signature, and thumb impression which they have to upload while filling in the online application form.

JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
The Admit Card of JEE Main 2018 will be made available by the CBSE tentatively in the third week of March 2018. for candidates who have successfully submitted their application form within the time frame. JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will be available online and candidates have to enter details like JEE Main 2018 application number and date of birth to download the admit card.
JEE Main 2018 Exam Schedule: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted Joint Entrance Examination Main 2018 in the month of April 2018. The 6th Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main) will be conducted in pen & paper mode on 08th April 2018 (Sunday). No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the time of last entry (i.e. 9.30 AM for Paper-I, 2.00 PM for Paper-II and 2.30 PM for the second shift of Paper-I).
