GATE Exam Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2020: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for session 2020 will be conducted 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th of February 2020. Online Application for GATE Examination 2020 will be started from 03rd September 2019 & closed 24th September 2019. The Syllabus & Exam Pattern of GATE will allow the candidates to know which topics they need to study to qualify in the entrance exam.
About GATE
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is basically an examination on the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects (also referred to as papers) and it would be distributed over 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th of February 2020. The GATE examination centers are spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India. The examination would be purely a Computer Based Test (CBT).
Candidates can download the official GATE Syllabus 2020 released by ITI Delhi for all the 25 papers on this page. Since General Aptitude (GA) is a mandatory section for all the GATE papers, the GATE Exam 2020 syllabus for GA is also mentioned in the article to aid candidates. The syllabus for Engineering Mathematics which is another mandatory section for all papers except (GG & XL) is given along with the syllabus of GATE for each respective paper.
