Chandrakona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya was established in 1985 following the recommendation of the Bhabatosh Dutta Commission. In its budding stage, this college was built by the generous help of all classes people of Chandrakona I & II Block & a small part of Keshpur & Garhbeta Block.
