Annapurna Bhandar Online Offline Apply Process || Required Documents : Annapurna Yojana (or Annapurna Bhandar Yojana) is a new welfare scheme run by the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, through which financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 per month will be provided to eligible women of the state. In May 2026, the new state government led by Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari announced the announcement and form of this scheme. This scheme is replacing the previous ‘Lakshmi Bhandar’ scheme. The main objective of Annapurna Yojana is to make women of West Bengal economically self-reliant and improve their social and living standards.

🎯 Main Objectives

Women’s Economic Self-reliance : Reducing women’s dependence on other family members for their own expenses by providing them with a direct monthly payment of Rs 3,000.
Poverty Alleviation and Nutrition Improvement : Providing financial assistance to poor rural and urban families to meet their basic daily food, nutrition and health needs.
Social Empowerment : Increasing women’s importance and social respect in the family decision-making process by providing them with direct cash.
Ensuring Financial Security : Creating a permanent monthly source of income for women aged 25 to 60 from low-income and middle-income families.

📋 Key features and benefits of the project

Monthly allowance : Eligible women will receive Rs 3,000 directly in the bank every month.
Mode of transfer : Money will be sent directly to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked single bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
For Lakshmi Bhandar beneficiaries : Existing beneficiaries of Lakshmi Bhandar will be transferred to this scheme, but they will also have to fill a new form for information verification. Until the new Annapurna Yojana money is launched, the old Lakshmi Bhandar money will be available.

⚖️ Eligibility

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the applicant must fulfill the following conditions::
1. Gender and Residence : The applicant must be a woman and a permanent resident of West Bengal.
2. Citizenship : The applicant must be an Indian citizen (illegal immigrants will not get this benefit). However, those who have applied for CAA or whose names are in the tribunal will be exempted.
3. Age limit : The woman’s age should be between 25 and 60 years.
4. Employment and Income Tax : The applicant cannot be in any permanent government or semi-government job and cannot be a government pensioner or income tax payer.

📝 Application process

The new application process is starting in full swing on the official portal from June 1, 2026 and this process will continue for 90 days. The form can be filled both online and offline. For offline, the form can be collected from the BDO office, municipality office or Duare Sarkar camp.

📝 To apply for Annapurna Yojana, detailed documents of the main applicant and all his/her family members will be required. Xerox copies of the following documents will be required to fill the 13-page detailed form released by the Chief Minister:

🪪 Personal documents of the applicant and family members

Aadhaar Card : Copy of Aadhaar card of the applicant and all family members (must have mobile number linked).
Voter Card (EPIC) : Voter card of the applicant and all adult family members.
Digital Ration Card : Number and copy of the digital ration card of the family.
PAN Card (PAN) : If the family members have PAN cards, their number and details should be given in the form.
Caste Certificate : If the applicant belongs to SC, ST or OBC category, then his caste certificate.
Passport Size Photograph : Recent colored passport size photograph of the applicant.

🏦 Bank and income proof

Bank Passbook : Copy of the first page of the passbook of the Aadhaar-linked active bank account of the applicant and other adult family members.
Proof of Annual Income : Income Certificate of the total annual income of the family.

🏡 Property and other details related documents

Land Record (RoR/Parcha) : A document relating to the land and property held in the name of the family.
Educational Qualification Documents : Certificates or mark sheets of the highest educational qualification of the educated members of the family.
School Information and Vaccination Certificate : If there is a child in the house, his/her school name, class and vaccination papers or information.
Vehicle Details : If anyone in the family owns a four-wheeled vehicle (car, jeep or tractor), its registration number and details.
