Annapurna Bhandar Form Fillup Process – How to Apply Step by Step Guide: Annapurna Bhandar (or Annapurna Yojana) is a new social welfare scheme of the West Bengal government, through which eligible women of the state will be provided financial assistance of Rs. 3,000 per month. In May 2026, the new state government led by Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari released the form for this scheme and it is going to be officially implemented from 1 June 2026.
💰 Key benefits and changes
Monthly allowance of Rs 3,000 : Rs 3,000 will be transferred directly (through DBT) to the bank accounts of eligible women.
Alternative to Lakshmi Bhandar : This new scheme will replace the previous government’s ‘Lakshmi Bhandar’ scheme. Earlier, Lakshmi Bhandar was providing Rs 1,500 or Rs 1,700 depending on the category, which is now being increased by one step to Rs 3,000 for all.
Name transfer : Those who were already getting the benefits of Lakshmi Bhandar are being automatically transferred to Annapurna Bhandar after their names are verified. However, the old benefits will continue till the complete conversion process is completed.
