Eligibility Criteria for Punjab ERB Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification:
The applicants should have passed Matric (10th) or HSC (10+2) with Training /Elementary Teachers Training two years course of Punjab State or from any other State or Union Territory declared equivalent and recognized by the Punjab Government and Guidelines of National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).
Age Limit:
The applicants age limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 01.01.2016. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per Punjab Government Rules.
Application Fee:
The applicants have to pay application fee of Rs.500/- for General & Other Unreserved categories candidates and Rs.250/- for Reserved (SC & ST) categories, No application fee for Ex-Servicemen candidates. The application fee should be paid through Bank Challan at branch of State Bank of Patiala.
Selection Procedure:
The applicants will be selected based on their performance in Education qualifications/ Professional Qualification and marks obtained in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (P.S,T.E.T-1).
