Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates must be 18 or above years of age but not more than the age of 35 years in case of General category, 37 years ago in case of BC-II category, 38 years if the case of a female (General, BC-I & BC-II) & 40 years in case of ST & SC category as on 01.01.2018. The physically disabled candidates will get a further age relaxation of 05 years.
Academic Qualification:
Candidates must be Graduate from a recognized University on/before the last date of submission of online application, having proficiency in English shorthand & in typing. The speed of shorthand would be 100 wpm (words per minute) & typing would be 40 wpm (words per minute) in English on a computer with maximum permissible mistake up to 10%. Candidates must be well acquainted with the computer application. Candidates should possess sound health, good moral character & should not be involved in or related to any criminal case or any type involving moral turpitude.
Scale of Pay:
Eligible & selected candidates receive the pay scale of Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- for English Stenographers for Civil Courts / Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- for English Stenographers for Family Courts & other allowances as per Govt. norms.
Mode of Selection:
Candidates are selected will be based on the written test, documents verification, personality test/viva voce.

Applicants can apply for online application format through the website www.jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in on or before 24.05.2018.
Following documents to be submitted in the space provided on the online application:
1. Scanned copy of color photograph (less than 2MB).
2. Scanned copy of signature (less than 2MB).
3. A scanned copy of the Matriculation Certificate in Proof of date of birth.
4. A scanned copy of Provisional/Original Degree Certificate of Graduation.
5. A scanned copy of the Caste Certificate as per State Government’s norms showing the place of residence & issued by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner or by competent authority verified & countersigned by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner (in case of reserved category only).
6. A scanned copy of Stenography & Typing Certificate issued by Competent institutions.
7. Details regarding uploading of documents.
Examination Fees:
Candidates should have paid their examination fee of Rs. 500/- only for unreserved, BC-I & BC-II category & Rs. 125/- only for SC&ST categories candidates. The payment can be made by Gateway Payment Insta Mojo & online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking etc.
