Eligibility Criteria for Department of Posts Recruitment 2017
Maximum Qualification: The candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized board or University for Postman Post and Matriculation (10th Class) or Equivalent from a recognized board or University for Mail Guard Post.
Age Limit & Relaxation: The candidates age limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years as on the closing date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.
Application Fees: Rs. 100/- mandatory for all categories of applicants who have registered.
Examination Fees: In addition to the application fee, examination fee prescribed for all male applicants in General and OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. No examination fee for SC, ST, PH and all Women candidates.
