Educational Qualification:
Applicants should have possessed Madhyamik (10th) / ITI pass or 12th class (10+2 stage) or above qualification from a recognized university or board.

Sports Norms:
Candidates must have sports qualification represented the country in World Cup (Jr. / Sr.), world championship (Jr. / Sr.) or at least 3rd position in Commonwealth championship (Jr. / Sr.), Asian Championship / Asia Cup (Jr. / Sr.), SAF Games (Sr.) or at least 3rd position in Sr. / Youth / Jr. National championship or at least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association of Indian universities or 1st position in Federation Cup championships (Sr.). In the discipline of cricket, at International level, representation of Main Indian Sr. Team in a Test Match or in a limited over one day International Match or in a 20 over Match shall be considered.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Applicants age limit should have minimum 18 years & maximum 25 years as on 01.07.2018. The upper age limit & relaxation as per Govt. norms.

Scale of Pay:
Eligible & selected candidates receive their pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20,200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 1900/- or Rs. 2000/- (VIPC) & other allowances as per Govt Rules.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates selection will be conducted through field trial.

Eligibility Criteria for Kolkata Metro Rail Recruitment 2017

Maximum Qualification: The candidates should have passed Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% on average and having ITI certificate from an institute affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade. Age Limit & Relaxation: The candidate’s age limit should be not less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 01.02.2017. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC & ST candidates, 10 years for PH candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Stipend: Stipend will be paid as per extant rules during the training period.
