Eligibility Criteria for Sikkim University Recruitment 2016- 20 Non-Teaching Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 27 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification:
1. Internal Audit Officer(Group-A): Candidates should possess CA/CMA/M.COM/MBA(Finance) degree from a recognized university.
2. Executive Engineer(Group-A): Candidates should possess Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university and 7 years experience as an Assistant Engineering in CPWD/PWD/ University/ Autonomous bodies/PSUs.
3. Public Relation Officer(Group-A): Master degree from a recognized University with 555 marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale.
4. Medical Officer(Group-A): MBBS recognized by Medical Council of India.
5. Personal Assistant(Group-B): Bachelors’ degree in any discipline from recognized University with Stenography in English with speed of 100 wpm and knowledge of computer application.
6. Senior Technical Assistant(Group-B): Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT or MCA OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology.
7. Security Inspector(Group-C): 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized school board & NCC certificate/certified training course on Security service from Govt. recognized centers/institutes.
8. Pharmacist(Group-C): Class 12th standard in Science subject from a recognized Board/University, Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy council of India.
9. Laboratory Assistant(Group-C): Bachelor’s degree in Science(Life Science) or other relevant field from a recognized Institute/University OR Diploma in relevant field of Engineering/Technology from recognized Institute/University.
10. Driver(Group-C): Class 10th standard from a recognized School/Board.
11. Library Attendant(Group-C): Class 10th standard from a recognized School/Board.
12. Laboratory Attendant(Group-C): Class 10th standard(With Science as one of the subjects) from a recognized School/Board.
13. Kitchen Attendant(Group-C): Class 10th standard from a recognized School/Board.
14. Hostel Attendant(Group-C): Same as post no 13.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination followed by Interview.

Salary Scale: Selected candidates will get pay
1. For Group-A
Post No. 1: Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 7600/-
Post No. 2: Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 6600/-
Post No. 3 & 4: Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 5400/-
2. For Group-B
Post No. 5 & 6: Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-
3. For Group-C
Post No. 7 & 8: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2800/-
Post No. 9: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2400/-
Post No. 10: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1900/-
Post No. 11 to 14: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1800/-

Application Fee: Except SC/ST/PWD/Women all General and OBC candidates will pay for application fee Rs. 1000/- for Grade-A, Rs. 500/- for Grade-B & Rs. 300/- for Grade-C.
