Eligibility Criteria for Irrigation Department Punjab Recruitment 2016
Educational Qualification:
Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil): Should possess a degree in Engineering in Civil from a recognized University or institution.
Sub-Divisional Engineer (Mechanical): Should possess a degree in Engineering in Mechanical from a recognized University or institution.
Age Limit:
The applicants age limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 01.01.2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, BC, 08 years for Government Service candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.
Application Fee:
The applicants belonging to Unreserved (UR) and OBC shall be required to pay application fee of Rs. 800/- and SC / ST / PH category candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 400/- only in cash through bank challan generated on submission of online application.
Mode of Selection:
Minimum qualifying marks will be 25% of total marks of examination. Selection will be purely based on merit in the entrance exam subject to fulfilling of all eligibility conditions.
