Eligibility Criteria for SSC Eastern Region Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:
The applicants should have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University for Post No. 3, 9, 10 and High School (10+2 Class) or equivalent passed from a recognized Board or University for Post No. 12, 21. For more details educational qualification refer the official notification.

Age Limit:
The applicants age limit should be not less than 18 years and 30 years for Post No. 1, 4, 5. candidates should be between 18 to 27 years for Post No. 2, 7, 8. 18 years to 28 years for Post No. 3 as on 26.09.2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD candidates as per GOL Rules. For More details age limit refer the official notification.

Application Fee:
The applicants have to pay application fee of Rs.100/- for General and All Unreserved categories candidates. No application fee for SC, ST, PH and Ex-serviceman. The application fee can be deposited Online mode only.

Procedure of Selection:
The applicants will be selected based on their performance in the OMR / Computer Based Examination and Personal Interview.
