Eligibility Criteria for UGC-NET Application Form 2020 – National Testing Agency
NTA UGC-NET Essential Qualification:
Candidates should possess Master’s Degree at least 55% (without rounding of) (50% marks for OBC-NCL/ SC /ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates) or equivalent examination from UGC recognized University/ Institute.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should not be more than 30 years as on 01.06.2020 for JRF post and no upper age limit for the post of Assistant Professor. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/OBC/PwD/ Transgender category candidates.
NTA UGC-NET Examination Fee:
Candidates are required to pay examination fee of Rs.1000/- for General Category, Rs.500/- for Gen-EWS*/OBC-NCL Category and Rs.250/- for SC /ST /PwD / Transgender Category. The examination fee can be paid by Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI.
NTA UGC-NET Admit Card 2020:
UGC-NET 2020 Examination will conduct on 15th June 2020 for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Eligibility for Assistant Professor or both in Indian University. Admit card for the exam will be released around two/three weeks before the exam. NTA UGC-NET Admit Card will be available in nta.ac.in from 15.05.2020. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit card to the examination center. No admission cards will be sent to the candidates by post.

How To Apply for NTA UGC-NET Exam 2020:

Selection Procedure:

Eligibility Criteria for UGC-NET Examination 2020 – Council of Scientific & Industrial Research

Candidates should have passed M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/ General-EWS & OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
