Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya, a co-educational day College, originally affiliated to the University of Calcutta was founded in Monirampore, under Barrackpore Sub-division of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, by Late Swami Jyotirmoyananda Giri Maharaj. › For Honours Course– Candidates should have 55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination. Or 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination. however, cut off marks will be 40% for Sc / ST candidates. Marks obtained in Environmental Studies/ Science as a compulsory subject in 10+2 examination shall not be taken into account for calculating the aggregate marks in best four subjects for the purpose of admission.
