Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have pass class 12th examination from West Bengal Higher Secondary Board or any recognized Central Board with-
i) A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate & 55% marks in the subject of the related subject at the previous qualifying examination or
ii) 50% marks in aggregate & 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination, or
iii) 55% marks in aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject or any related subject in his / her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied (especially University Rules-5).
Intake Seat Capacity in Tehatta Government College Nadia UG Admission 2021:
› Bachelor of Arts (Honours)- 25 seats for each Honours Subject
› Bachelor of Arts (General) – 40 seats
› Bachelor of Science (General) – 25 seats
Reservation of Seats / Intake Seat Capacity for Tehatta Govt College Nadia Part I Admission 2021:
Reservation of 22% seats shall be reserved for candidates belonging to the SC & 6% seats shall be reserved for candidates belonging to the ST & relaxation of qualifying marks to the extent of 25% from the marks secured by the last candidate admitted in General category would be permitted. In case SC candidates are not available, those seats will be offered to SC candidates & vice-versa. 3% of the total number of seats in each subject shall be reserved for Physically disabled candidates, 10% of the seats in each of the subjects/courses shall be reserved for the students passing examinations equivalent to HS examination of the WBCHSE & admission of such candidates will be restricted to those reserved seats only.
For BA / B.Sc Honours Degree Courses: One seat in each Honours subject.
For BA / B.Sc General Degree Courses: 5% of the seats subject to a maximum of two seats in each course.

Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit. Merit list will be prepared uniformly on the basis of the following criteria:
(i) In case of Honours Courses: Aggregate (as per previous explanation) plus the marks obtained in the subject in which he/she intends to take up Honours or related subject. However, students who avail themselves of Rule 3(III) will not get the benefit of related subject.
(ii) In case of Mejor & General Courses: Merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate.
Counselling Date for Tehatta Govt College Nadia Part I Admission 2021:
After admission, all relevant certificates in original & one copy printed form must be produced before the College for verification within the scheduled time notified by the College Authority.
Needed Documents to be produced/submitted for verification at the time of Admission:
1. A printout of the application form submitted online along with five passport size color photographs.
2. Printout of the application form must be signed by the candidate & respective parent.
3. Original Marksheet of HS/equivalent to being produced for verification of marks. Original Admit Card / Madhyamik Certificate also to be produced for verification of Date of Birth. Self-attested copies of both documents to be submitted at the time of admission.
4. In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, the original certificate should be issued by the proper authority i.e., not lower than SDO. For physically handicapped students & those applying under Sports Quota (SQ), Kalyani University rules & regulations are to be followed & certificates from the concerned authorities must be produced. Along with original documents, self-attested photocopies must be produced & submitted.
