Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have minimum class X passed from a recognized board for open candidates as well as for HG candidates for GD Constable posts / minimum class XII passed in PCM for Constable / Technical posts.
Reservation for Sportspersons & Artisans of Excellence:
GD Constable: ST-01, OBC(CL)-1, SC-1 & Primitive Tribe-1.
GD Constable (Women): OBC(CL)-1.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should not less than 18 years & not more than 22 years as on 01.02.2018. The age relaxation 05 years for BL / ST / SC / Primitive Tribe, 04 years for OBC (CL) & 03 years for OBC (SL). The upper age limit for HG candidates is 32 years for BL / ST / SC / Primitive Tribe, 31 years for OBC (CL) & 30 years for OBC (SL).
Scale of Pay:
Eligible & selected candidates receive the pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20,200/- plus grade pay of Rs. 2400/- & other allowances as admissible under the Rules in Sikkim Police. However, during the period of probation / Apprenticeship / Training, pay shall be Governed by Notification No.459/GEN/DOP Dated 31.10.2017.
How to Apply:
Applicants can apply offline application format through the Sikkim Police Official Website www.sikkim.nic.in on or before 28.02.2018. The prescribed application forms are available from 29.01.2018 & can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police / Special Branch, Tadong, Gangtok & the office of District SsP (North / South / West) on working days till 28.02.2018 on the production of Bank (SBS) Receipt for Rs. 70/- under revenue Head 0055-Police-800 other receipts. Candidates must fill in application form with his/her own handwriting & affix his/her signature.

1. Sikkim Subject / COI.
2. Valid local employment Card.
3. BL / ST / SC / OBC / BPL Certificate.
4. Educational Qualification Certificate / Mark Sheet.
5. Date of Birth Certificate.
6. NOC from Head of Department in Case of Govt. Servant.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates selection will be based on the written test, Preliminary Efficiency / Endurance Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Viva-Voce Test. Candidates who qualify for the Physical Measurement Test & PET shall be called for the written test which will be announced/notified separately.
