CCMT Admission 2017 – Application Form: Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat has organized the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. ( CCMT ) Admission 2017. To participate in the counselling candidates must fulfill the CCMT eligibility for details of the same and ensure they meet them before applying. All the GATE qualified candidates aspiring to take admission in M.Tech programmes at 40 NITs and CFTIs must complete their registration process before 8th May 2017. The candidates can fill and lock their choices before 11th May 2017.
After looking the choices, the candidates will be called for seat allotment process on the basis of their GATE scores in 2017/2016/2015. About CCMT 2017-18
Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan. admissions (CCMT) 2017 is an online admission process for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other Centrally funded institutes viz. IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITDM Kancheepuram, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Institute of Technology and IIEST Shibpur. These are the premier institutions of the country, under the aegis of Ministry of HRD, Government of India, for imparting world class technical education. As decided by the Core Committee, Counselling for centralized admission to postgraduate programs in all these institutes will be starting from 2nd week of April 2017.
Eligibility Criteria of CCMT 2017
To admission through CCMT 2017 Counselling, the candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria which is mention below.
GATE: Candidates must have a valid GATE 2015, 2016 and 2017 scores.
Education Qualification: 1. In qualifying examination, candidates should have secured 60% marks, i.e. 6.5 CGPA.
2. The qualifying degree course must have been persuaded from a recognized institute/college/university.
CCMT 2017 Application Form
Interested & eligible candidates can apply online through official website www.ccmt.nic.in from April 10, 2017. The candidates have to first register, pay the required application fee and complete the registration process by filling their choices of programmes and preferred institutes and lock them within the specified dates. All the candidates will have to submit their application form, pay the fees, and lock their choices before May 08.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 2200/- for OC/OB candidates and Rs. 1700/- for SC/ST candidates. The candidates can pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking facility/e-challan through SBI bank.
Rounds of CCMT 2017
There will be four rounds in CCMT including the spot round. The process of all the rounds will be similar and will include the following steps:
1. Registration
2. Choice Filling
3. Seat Allotment
4. Seat acceptance and Personal Reporting
5. Getting Admitted at Allotted Institute
6. Reporting at the Institute.
After every round of CCMT 2017, the candidate will get an opportunity to either accept the allocated seat or move to the next round of counselling.
How to Apply: Interested & eligible candidates can apply online through official website www.ccmt.nic.in from 10th April to 8th May 2017. At first, candidates need to enter the Email ID and GATE 2017/2016/2015 details to register online. Candidates have to log in with the registration details and fill the application form as per the given information. Submit the application form of CCMT and print it for further admission process.
