Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Degree in Agriculture followed by Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy / Plant Breeding / Genetics / 10th / Diploma in Civil Engineering of minimum 03 years duration / Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology or three years Diploma in Handlooms Technology or Handlooms & Textile Technology / Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University & experience in food crops / cash crops ( Oilseeds, Jute, Cotton, Tobacco & Sugarcane ).
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should be not exceeding 30 years / 18 to 25 years. The upper age limit 05 years for SC / ST category candidates, 03 years for OBC category candidates, 10 years for PWD category candidates, 13 years for PWD ( OBC ) category candidates, 15 years for PWD ( SC / ST ) category candidates & other relaxation as per Govt. norms.
Scale of Pay:
Selected candidates receive their remuneration PB-II of Rs. 9300 – 34,800/- + grade pay of Rs. 4600/- / level-4 in the pay matrix of Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- / level-2 in the pay matrix of Rs. 19,900 – 63,200/- & others allowances as per norms.

Examination Fee:
Candidates should have paid their examination fee of Rs. 100/- only through SBI Net Banking /, Credit Cards / Debit Cards of all Banks or through SBI Challan. All Women candidates & candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH & Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying the application fee, as per extant Government orders.
