WB Health GNM Nursing Admission 2019: Government of West Bengal, Department of Health & Family Welfare has declared an admission notification for Admission to the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Training Course for the Session October to September. Applications are invited for Admission to 3 years GNM Training Course including Six Months Internship in 2300 Female Nurse & 105 Male Nurse in Nursing Training Schools under Govt. of West Bengal. Eligibility Criteria For WB Health GNM Nursing Admission 2019
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from WBCHSE or passed an equivalent examination from any recognized Institute/ Board. Candidates must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the district of West Bengal also candidates should have the ability to read, write and express in Bengali / Nepali.
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 17 years to 27 years as on 01.01.2019. For more details refer official notification.
Selection Process: Selection will be made strictly on the basis of total marks obtained in a compulsory subject in the H.S or equivalent examination. The candidates from Vocational stream will not be considered.
Reservation of Seat: The reservation criteria will be 22% for SC candidates, 6% for ST candidates, 10% for OBC A candidates, 7% for OBC B candidates, 2% for Female candidates belonging to Orphanages and Inmates of Destitute Homes recognized by the Social Welfare Department, Govt. Of West Bengal.
Documents Needed with Application Form: Candidates should submit their application form along with Self attested photocopies of following documents mention below.
1. Qualification Certificates & Mark Sheet.
2. Age Proof.
3. Original copy of Residential certificate.
4. Caste certificate.
5. One recent color self-signed passport size photograph.
6. One Self-address envelope with requisite postal stamp (at least Rs.5/-).
