West Bengal D.El.Ed Admission Counselling 2017-18
Selected candidates will be called for WB D.El.Ed Counselling and that time candidates will have to submit their required documents/fees for admission. Applied candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of merit list marks allotted for academic merit list. The affiliated colleges of West Bengal State will allow seats to the candidates on the basis of candidates rank and availability of seats. Documents verification will be done at the time of counselling. Selected candidates are reported to attend the counselling with their original certificates.
Documents Needed for WB D.El.Ed Admission Counselling 2017-18
Candidates must bring their original certificates along with attested/self-attested copies in support of their:
1. Qualification Certificate
2. Caste Certificate
3. ID proof
4. D.El.Ed merit list
5. Residential certificate
6. Recent passport size photo
Important Notice of WBBPE D.El.Ed. Merit List 2017-18: The date of submission of online applications for admission to the Two years D. El. Ed. Course has been over on 23.07.2017. The Heads of the Institutes would verify and authenticate the valid applications and reject the invalid applications with reasons. In terms of authenticated valid applications, certified by the respective Heads of D.El.Ed. Institutes, the Board approves provisionally the merit lists for admission with the following conditions:
1. The institute should admit the candidates strictly in terms of the approved merit positions of the candidates to be published and made available to the Institution online on and from 11 a.m. of 11.08.2017.
2.The testimonials, particularly the Mark-sheets, should be checked carefully. They may also forward the Mark-sheets to the Board in case of any doubt.
3.The last date for such admission on the basis of such approved lists is 17.08.2017, i.e. four working days from the date of receipt of such lists.
4.The Institution will submit a list of selected candidates under Management Quota from among the waitlisted candidates for approval by 13.08.2017, which shall not exceed 10% of the sanctioned intake.
WBBPE D.El.Ed. Merit List Date: The head of the D.El.Ed. Institutions listed for admission for the session 2017-19 are hereby informed that owing to the sudden outbreak of flood in company with natural calamities in the State, the date of admission to D.El.Ed. Institutions in terms of the provisionally approved merit list published online in hereby extended up to 21.08.2017.
WBBPE has recently released a notice for the heads of the Non-Government Self-financed Private D.EL.ED Institutes which have vacant seats and wait listed applicants. All the heads of the Sel-financed Non-Government Private D.EL.ED. Institutes, listed for admission for the session 2017-2019 are requested to fill up the vacant seat category wise (if available) from amongst the wait listed candidates on the basis of merit in order to end the process of such admission and to start the classes full-fledged as expeditiously as possible, but not later than 24.08.2017.

WBBPE 2 Years D.El.Ed. Course Registration: West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has declared a notice for Registration of the students of Two years D.El.Ed. Course for the session 2017-19. Those candidates who have withdrawn or canceled their admission/studentship for the session 2017-19, should be stricken out from the list of admitted students. The Heads of self-financed institutes are also authorized to fill up such vacant seats on first come first serve basis by the eligible intending candidates and upload the testimonials of such newly admitted candidates within 11.09.2017.
