Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the 3 years B.A. / B.Sc. ( Hons. / Major) The course of studies provided she has also passed English full marks not being less than 100.
Bengali honours: Candidates should have a minimum 50% in aggregate & 50% in Bengali A or 50% in aggregate & 70% in Bengali B & 50% aggregate & 70% in Bengali for other Board.
Chemistry honors: 70% in aggregate & 70% in Chemistry & 60% in Mathematics & 65% for other Board.
Economics honors: 65% in aggregate & 60% in Mathematics.
Education honours: 55% in aggregate & must have an Education or one of the related subjects for WB Board & 55% in aggregate & must have an Education or one of the related subjects for another board.

Merit list will be published on the basis of the aggregate / grand total of Higher Secondary or equivalent Board examination marks will be calculated as the sum of marks obtained in Language-1, Language-2 & best three Elective subjects marks.
